SSNA is a WBENC Supplier
On August 24-August 25, 2016, representatives Steve Mohr and Kelly Hennessy attended the 7th annual WBENC POP Power of Partnering Marketplace Conference on behalf of Sigma Supply of North America. Held at the Georgia International Convention Center, the two-day event was sponsored by over 30 companies including Sigma Supply of North America, WestRock, BMW Group, and The Coco Cola Company to name a few.
Hosted by the Greater Women’s Business Council, the Supplier Diversity Conference held matchmaking sessions between several major corporations and women-owned business attendees. Through each 10 minute session, corporate and governmental members were able to form connections with WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprises.
During the event, many exhibitors were featured while educational workshops were conducted. During the various workshops, many keynote speakers offered insight and advice to the attendees including founder and CEO of Big Fish Marketing, Inc. Robin Fisher Roffer, Atlanta’s CBS46 news anchor Tracye Hutchins, speaker/trainer/author Becky McCrary, and MVPwork LLC president/CEO Becky Davis.
Robin Fisher Roffer made an impacting and bold statement that helped to shape the overall feel of the 2016 conference as she proudly and confidently stated:
How we define ourselves is part of being fearless. To fearlessly define ourselves and not let other people brand us and tell their story about who we are.
