Chain Transfers

Alba provides three types of standard chain transfers – In-Frame type, Through-Frame type and Frame-to-Frame type. All standard chain transfers have a load capacity of up to 4,000 lbs. Transfers come standard with a welded, structural steel frame, continuously welded sprockets, scalloped chain guard and adjustable, heavy-duty supports. Transfer lift mechanism uses a four-point, positive lift activated by a pneumatic cylinder. Our transfers are shipped fully assembled for easy installation and are fully tested prior to shipment. Several options are available such as varying roller diameters, stops, backstops and transition rollers and fork truck barriers. Standard units are provided with a solenoid valve and proximity switches to sense raised and lowered transfer positions.
